mchook Posted June 28, 2020 Posted June 28, 2020 Started this old Model A kit, I scratch built the frame (first for me), chopped the top & found a big mopar for it. I can't decide which wheels & tires to use. Love to hear your choices...
larman Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 I'd go with the Cragars, fits the feel of the car much better. You have a real late 60's vibe going with the work you did and that 413 Mopar, the Cragars work better.

Straightliner59 Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 The Cragars look much more at home! That's what I'd go with.
espo Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 While it's only my opinion, the large diameter wheels and tires just don't look correct in this application. I would suggest something that represents a 15" or no larger than 16" wheel and larger rear tires than in front. The Cragars look good but there may be others that might work just as well. What style do you like ?
Plowboy Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Anything but the wire wheels! I like the look of the Cragars also. Maybe a little lower profile tire for the front. Another thought is the Ansen slots from the Revell Willys gasser.
mchook Posted July 2, 2020 Author Posted July 2, 2020 Thanks guys, I'm going with the Cragars. I worked on the floor today.
OldNYJim Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 Nice scratchbuilding! I like the front spring mount and the floor! Good job!
Nazz Posted July 4, 2020 Posted July 4, 2020 I like where this is going. Love the Cragars and the cheater slicks!
mchook Posted July 7, 2020 Author Posted July 7, 2020 Thanks guys. I got some paint, interior & exhaust work finished.
mchook Posted July 11, 2020 Author Posted July 11, 2020 Finished it up the other day, I'll add some pics under glass soon.
misterNNL Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 Patina'd finish is soooo good on this car. "In rust we trust"!
