Maurice Henderson
Bro, thanks for the advise..I'm right now building the AMT 71 Duster..I'm using the 68 Hemi Dart as part of the build..I back half the Duster chassis and use everything from the engine, interior, wheels and rear end..Decals from Slixx..The only thing I don't like is the hood scoop, I may use the Hemi Dart hood scoop..I'm not sure until I cross that bridge..If you could reply on the color of paint you used would be a great help. Hey Maurice, I almost missed this, I used Model master Chevrolet engine Orange if I remember correctly, the car was a cross between orange and red depending on the photo you are looking at. I’d love to see your progress, is it posted on the forum?

TarheelRick
As the others have said this is a very well built Pro-stock. Did the sub-frame connectors come with the kit or did you install them yourself?

I cut the floor pan just shy of the square width and finish sand for the final fit so I don’t have to use filler.

Maurice Henderson
Dragcarz, I agree with you 💯 on your statement..I had surgery on my left thumb in February and it's still numb..I got the AMT Catalina 62 421 SD & 67 Impala on my bench right now..Having your hands work 💯 is essential to modeling..I can't count how many parts I have dropped because of my left hand & I'm right handed. Hang in there Maurice, your thumb will heal, really push when you get to physical therapy, and it will come around. The human body is an amazing thing. I’m a lot better now.
