Brizio Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Years ago I converted the Ecto1 to a regular wagon. All the Ecto1 parts were left over, so I decided to put them on a Jeep. I bought the Jeep Renegade in 1/24, nice diecast model. Here what I did. The model ready for get all the Ecto1 stuff. Before I worked I disassembled the model. Painted some detail on the engine All the Tow hoos are in one pice, need to drill them out! Rear, also the exhaust need some work. The front lower grill need to be open up little bit.
Brizio Posted September 28, 2020 Author Posted September 28, 2020 Here the Tow hooks drilled and painted Some color also on the brake calipers. Windows needs to be tinted. I use testors paint for this Painted some detail on the door panels and dashboard
Brizio Posted September 28, 2020 Author Posted September 28, 2020 Installed all the windows and interior. And now the Renegade is ready for the Ecto1 stuff! I was hoping to use the fool roof rack from the Ecto1 kit, but I went in a different way, and built a new one, more modern. Antenna mounts All painted! Now some stuff that was on the kit, I had to cut each one and add some details This one Is made out of a piece of pen and two Harley parking lights! Sanded and ready to be painted in yellow
randyc Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 That's a neat little build. Great idea and turned out really cool. And interesting.
kilrathy10 Posted September 28, 2020 Posted September 28, 2020 Now, that's impressive and creative all at the same time... A very nice idea, and great execution of it...
