Slowly making progress. I have been trimming and thinning the parts box 67 engine bay to fit into the 68 body and chassis. I found the Shelby center console and added that to the interior tub. I also ran the spark plug wires on the 428 Cobra Jet. I even matched the factory wiring order. (Not that anyone would notice).

Just thought I'd pass this along for reference.  As you might've noticed, the kit's grille/bumper assembly aren't all that accurate.  You could improve things by separating the bumper and moving the grille screen back, as shown in this photo.

Also most of the kit part should be painted body color except the thin chrome edge and actual screen area.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I am out of that orange paint.

After a lot of trimming and thinning, the 67 engine bay is installed.
