Most motorized or once motorized kits I have ever built suffer greatly in details. I can not speak to this kit however.

And, considering that they are no where near correct on the production date of that GTO, I would imagine that the detail is suffering.

I have this kit in a different box , body is pretty good ! Reminds me of the 71 GTO  MPC  promo body. When you look under the hood part of the one piece body, it even has the same or similar mold parting line! I'll have to test fit the 1972 MPC GTO kit and see how far off it is? If I remember correctly it comes with the correct 71 GTO spoiler also. The Dousha kit interior is not deep at all but has the semi correct headrests in it?.It has a slot cat depth to it .Chassis has no detail to it!I will check it tonight!

I built a Nissan Cherry in the same range. I think the quality of them can vary depending on who originally designed and manufactured the kit, this is certainly the case with the other unbuilt ones I have. Scaling on some of them, but not all, seems to be larger than 1:24.

I think they all have a shallow interior, but with a bit of parts box raiding and/or scratchbuilding that wouldn't be too difficult to rectify?

Some of mine (maybe all) have smoked glass.
