Hi Wayne,

Have them contact Gregg Hutchings at gregg@modelcarsmag.com.  He can give them all the necessary details to become an MCM dealer.

Thanks and regards,

Yup, my copy will be here today. I have ordered stuff from them several times. They are great! They are also on "my" coast, so the shipping times are short.

I sure hope my Local Hobby Shop, Cellar Dweller in Winnipeg is able to strike up a deal to be a dealer for the magazine..I'am sure it would sell very fast in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada..There are quite a few members of this site from Winnipeg..

Dave, thanks for the feedback about MCM regarding the UK. Local hobby shops are getting to be as rare as hens teeth over here. I guess it is the same in the US.

Maybe MCM should approach WHSmith who are a large UK  multi store newsagents, bookseller and stationery I guess similar to your Barnes and Noble chain who have outlets in just about every town and city.

Menzies are the suppliers of most of WH Smith stock including magazines, throughout the UK.

John Menzies have been owned by W H Smiths since the late 1980, this meant Menzies could concentrate on it's distribution business,  this is the side that delivers all W H Smiths stock in it's shops.

As a shareholder I'm pleased that the stock price increased by 2.75% today.

Geoff, as a Menzies/WHSmith shareholder you may be in a better position than most to see if WHSmith could hold MCM. They have Fine Scale Modeler on their shelf regularly that is another American publication. I think they also have an American Railroader magazine stocked regularly.

I've only got shares in Menzies Distribution, which only distribute the stock for W.H Smiths,  sadly i have no influence in anything W.H Smiths sell in their stores.otherwise I'd be on the phone trying to get them to stock MCM.

For us in the uk it could be worth asking hiroboy if they would stock it. If your ordering from them they have a requests form after checkout and they are pretty good at getting requested items
