Mopar - D Posted January 22, 2021 Author Posted January 22, 2021 Brian, Dave has a nice day cab this is mine.
Mopar - D Posted January 23, 2021 Author Posted January 23, 2021 My brother that gave me the idea for this build has been helping me with finding pictures and today he lets me know that my frame is to long based on the pictures of the truck. I had the wheel base at 170” and looking at the pictures closer it looks like they had a 150” wheel base. So out came the saw and 20” of frame. I built the air intake and exhaust support. Was able to get some primer on the frame and paint on the engine.
gotnitro? Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 Good looking frame chop! Funny how a few years ago a chop like that would be taboo, now ots everyday common to achieve a correct look
Mopar - D Posted January 25, 2021 Author Posted January 25, 2021 Jeff my frame chop and re-glue took about 20 minutes and most of the time was figuring where and how much to cut out. Was able to get my air brush out today.
Mopar - D Posted January 27, 2021 Author Posted January 27, 2021 Little more work on the frame polished the fuel tanks and painted the wheel hubs. This dark blue looks black in my pictures but I like how the chrome looks with it.
kilrathy10 Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 Dude!!! You're all over it, Man...This is looking awesome!!
Olskoolrodder Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 I'm loving that dark blue too, great work on all of it!
Mopar - D Posted January 30, 2021 Author Posted January 30, 2021 Thanks JT and Stephen. I’ve received my truck tires from Scenes Unlimited and the second Cuda for Swede Savage.
Oldmopars Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 I like it, the color on the frame looks great. I like that deep blue, I have a can of something close I have used a few time. Keep up the god work.
Mopar - D Posted January 31, 2021 Author Posted January 31, 2021 Thanks JT and Stephen. I’ve received my truck tires from Scenes Unlimited and the second Cuda for Swede Savage.

doorsovdoon Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Great looking frame, very nice colour and I like the interior. That cab looks sweet, can't wait to see what it looks like painted up.
slusher Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Looking great Dan, real nice shade of blue and very clean work. I love anything Mopar..
Mopar - D Posted February 3, 2021 Author Posted February 3, 2021 (edited) I really appreciate everyone’s comments here. I’ve added some checkered plate on the frame. Was able to see it in one of the pictures I have to go by. Also glued the quarter fenders and mud flaps on. I’ve also made the groves for the glass as well. I’m also working on my template for the trailer decals. Edited February 3, 2021 by Mopar - D
