drinkone2 Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 (edited) Finally managed to finish one of the thirteen projects I have going. AITM conversion kit (with headlights from a Mack DM 800 parts kit) on an IH 4300 donor chassis. Wheels (and possibly tires) from Double Take Replicas. Inspiration photo in background is from Robert Baciulis Flickr pages. Wish I could take some outdoor pics but there's too much snow to mess with that now. OldTrucker Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Beautiful build of one of the first type of truck I drove for Red Ball Movers locally! I'd love to find an Emeryville conversion.
doorsovdoon Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Very nice looking truck and the colours look great. I really like that cab though, it looks similar style to the AECs and ERFs we had here.
1959scudetto Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 Very nice model of one of my favourite trucks!
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Awesome looking Emeryville Jim! When I first saw it last night on Flickr, the paint job really caught my eye. You really captured the look of one of these trucks! Excellent work!

TECHMAN Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 ??? Absolutely Awesome!!!! Super job on the build!!!! I too have a "soft spot" for the old Internationals... DJ ps: agree 100% about the quality of Dave's products, everything that I've gotten from him has ALWAYS been First-Class and quick
leafsprings Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Great build. Vintage color photos are great references to guide a project along. Like the old school Budds and custom paint job!
Doug 1061 Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 Great job there. One of these days I'll get up the nerve to try a resin build.
drinkone2 Posted March 6, 2021 Author Posted March 6, 2021 Thank you all for the kind words. This is my second resin conversion that I completed and I learned a few lessons along the way. The snow finally melted here in Ohio and the weather was nice enough for some outdoor shot yesterday. The Fruehauf skateboard was built back in 2018. 1959scudetto Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 Excellent truck, Jim - trailer with pipes fits very well also!
