Snake45 Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 Wow, that's a beauty! Now you're making me wish I'd bought one when Ollie's had them for $10.
THarrison351 Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 Looks great! I see you went with the optional headlights. The only downfall I have with this kit it the wheels have no lugnuts. Otherwise it builds up easily enough and looks pretty good. So much better than the Dodge Daytona.
randyc Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 I had one of those somewhere and can't find it, nor remember if I gave it to a relative. Looks great.
spencer1984 Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Looks good! This was one of ther weirder kits that I've built, but as you've shown it comes together nicely.
ewetwo Posted February 25, 2021 Author Posted February 25, 2021 Yes Bill. I couldn't get the rear truck just right. And it was missing some screws. Let us hope it stays together. LOL
Geno Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 That turned out nice Dave. I converted mine to "The Punisher" GTO.?
Snake45 Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 I grabbed one of these this morning at the local toy show for $10. Unbuilt and seems to be complete.
Snake45 Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 Ewetwo and Geno, if you got this kit together, I now have major new RESPECT for both of you. I started mine this morning, expecting a quick, easy, fun project that would take a morning, maybe two. It took me two gorram hours just to get the front suspension and basic engine block in. It's now all back in the box awaiting my next fit of enthusiasm. The instructions are unclear, especially on which of the 4 or 5 different size screws go where. And the parts are hard to locate. For a while I was convinced I was missing at least one whole sprue. Finally gave up when I couldn't find the front part of the radiator. I'm sure it's here somewhere, but I got tired of looking for it and everything else.

I don't think any of the Lincoln Mint kits I've built were ever easy. It does look pretty good when finished. Even if there are no lugnuts.
