michelle Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 (edited) i acually painted all the parts and glued together all the sub assemblies for this model last year right before the weather got bad i finally got around to putting the rest of it together yesterday i wish there was a engine for it but it was missing when i pulled out the box from the cupboard i had it stored in so i am not sure if i used it in something else or if i never put it back in the box with the rest of the car when i finished the sub assemblies last year i painted the body testors extreme lacquer root beer and the interior i painted white i know i did a rim swap for the car last year cause i really did not want to use the rims that came with the kit the ones i used are from the revell 68 dart 2 in 1 kit Edited March 17, 2021 by michelle

My dad sold it for 500 dollars after I enlisted in the Army. The car is worth a fortune today! Oh well, thanks for the memories Michelle!

I like the colors you chose. FYI....in 1966, there was no R/T. The top model Coronet would have been the 500. Also, no kit of the '66 Coronet has been issued. There might be a resin version available, but I'm not aware of one.

You can paint it clear red. i know but almost every picture i saw you could not see it unless it was lit up and even the model kit box art did not have it painted
