i  acually  painted all the parts and glued together all the sub assemblies for  this model  last year  right before the weather got bad
i finally got around to putting the rest of it together  yesterday  i wish there was a engine for it  but  it was missing  when i pulled out the box from the cupboard  i had it stored in  so i am not sure if i used  it  in something else  or if i never put it back in the box with the rest of the car  when  i finished the sub assemblies  last year
i painted the body testors extreme lacquer root beer and the interior i painted  white
i know i did a rim swap for the car last year cause i really did not want to use the rims that came with the kit the ones i used are from the revell 68 dart 2 in 1 kit

This reminds me a lot of the 66 Coronet RT convertible I had in the mid 70's.  Similar color, but black interior.  My dad sold it for 500 dollars after I enlisted in the Army.  The car is worth a fortune today!  Oh well, thanks for the memories Michelle!

Very nice build, Michelle! I like the colors you chose.

FYI....in 1966, there was no R/T. The top model Coronet would have been the 500. Also, no kit of the '66 Coronet has been issued. There might be a resin version available, but I'm not aware of one.

and thank you for the info  i figured mpc might have put out a kit or promo  since they seamed to do  most of big 3 muscle  cars   with the exception of some that johan made

Nice. The entire ribbed panel in the rear is a taillight. You can paint it clear red.

i know  but almost every picture i saw you could not see it  unless it was lit up and even the model kit box art  did not have it painted
