majel Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 Very nice work!! That was the first large scale model I ever built back in the late 70's, always loved that kit.
Safire6 Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 I built this kit about a year ago but built it box stock. I also built one back in the '70s but ended up torching it. Fortunately one of my brothers saved one of the slicks from the '70s build because one of the slicks in last year's kit was deformed out of the box. So I used the slick saved from the '70s build in the one I built last year. All the extra details you added really make it stand out. Great job!
Claude Thibodeau Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Hi Rob! Masterful, really. It brings me back to my old issues of Hot-Rod, mid 60's. Bravo! CT
Deuces ll Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Beautiful!!!.... ? Revell came out with it again in the early 2000's and I remember buying that kit for $23.00 at Meijer.....
Zippi Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Nice looking Rail. That engine detail is outstanding.
Intmd8r Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Impressive work. How big is thins thing at 1/16 scale?
Dave42 Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Nice work here. I have this kit in the stash and I hope to do as well.

Safire6 Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Just now, Safire6 said: It is 15-1/4" long. I just noticed that a hose has come loose from the engine.
StevEll Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 That is the most nicely detailed Tony Nancy dragster I have ever seen RM Zombie. And I've seen and built alot. Great job! I hope you don't mind, I shared a photo to a facebook group. I'd love to see anything else you've built. Thanks for sharing. Steve
fireguy14 Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Gorgeous build! I did the 1/25 RE Loner. Was given to me in 1978. Quite overwhelming for an 8 y/o. Finally finished it 24-25 years later!
