Wife and I headed to a Cruise-in yesterday morning to a small town about 35 min away.  Saw some old friends and meet some really nice people.  Food and drinks were FREE.  No registration just donations.  I'm thinking there were about 150+ registered cars & trucks  There was a Ford trackor that had a flathead V8 that sounded like a race car and the fellow would start it up once in a while.  It was nice to get out again and swap lies ☺  The Red 49 Chevy Pickup is ours.

Yeah my wife and I love the hospitality of the small towns.  You meet the nicest people at these cruise-in's and the cars and trucks are something to behold.

Yep, some very nice vehicles there Bob.    We are in a relatively small town too with a courthouse in the town square but only one cruise-in a year in conjunctionn with other festivities.  Shame, cause there a lot of nice cars around here.

My wife and I went and looked at that dark blue 51 Chevy in the Dream Museum here locally a couple years ago to see about buying it.  It just had to many issues for me.  I talked with the new owner at the cruise-in and he had trouble with it when he bought it but has it all lined out.  Very nice little grocery getter.
