Gareth the Amt 71 Charger chassis and the Amt Roadrunner chassis is both used in other builds but I forget what.. I'll just be using the Chassis that's in the box on this build, but yeah, it looks like the '71 could work. I seen a video on YouTube where he used the Revel Charger Chassis, looks like an extensive and very nicely detailed build, here's a link- https://youtu.be/pKfs5IqEh9E
doorsovdoon Posted July 20, 2021 Author Posted July 20, 2021 Well, she's nearly finished. Just got to clean up some fingerprints before I put on the decals!
David G. Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Looks great Gareth! Your detail painting really adds interest to an otherwise lackluster kit. David G.
doorsovdoon Posted July 21, 2021 Author Posted July 21, 2021 Thanks guys. I finished putting the decals on last night and is ready for under glass! I'll post some pics soon, thanks for following along. I wasn't originally going to do a WIP as it's such a basic kit I thought it would be two or three pictures and thread over, lol.

When I was researching the car I based it off a picture of an original CHP car, I even put the AM radio antenna blanking plug on the front fender. When I research the real car I notice all the inaccuracies in a kit, like the rear lights being from a Plymouth fury, haha. Still, a pretty good kit. 1 hour ago, oldscool said: That turned out really nice. Thanks, Gerald. There's some parts that I'm not happy with, like the glue mess around the door mirrors and spot lights, and having to use Molotow on the window frames. It's better from a distance, this is a good three footer I'd say, Lol.
slusher Posted July 23, 2021 Posted July 23, 2021 I will be looking for it under glass. You did a great job..
