ranma Posted November 5, 2021 Posted November 5, 2021 What the??? I think this would have been a better choice ( the Ex Van Lines ) Nascar/Indy car trasporter....

A normal box van is a bit of an odd choice from a builder’s standpoint. 1 1

tbill Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 Box van has more smooth areas to carry the decals….. but I agree with the above comments. 1
Jim B Posted November 6, 2021 Posted November 6, 2021 Besides, Round2 already had the van trailer molds ready to go. Same as AMT has done in the past: same kit different decals. Hard pass on this one.

And the open car carrier wouldn’t be the rolling billboard they’re after. But, yes, from a functionality standpoint, anything designed for auto transport would make much better sense. Ralph Henderson Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 other thought is. a couple months after the kit is released, you'll be able to buy the decals from Round 2 to put on any trailer you want..

37 caddy Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 It would be neat if they had done it with the car hauler, kind off like the old tournament of thrills set,the trailer and 3 of the rat fink cars and the ford C-600.That would have been something Ed Roth might have actually done back in the day. That way you could justify it having chrome spoke wheels i have never seen any Semi with a chrome spoke wheel. Harvey 1

Harvey problem with that is, Revell did the Ed Roth "Rat Fink" cars, and Round 2 has this round of licensing. If we can get the decals, we can use them for any truck/trailer combo. Round 2 has a nice stand alone Rat Fink decal sheet out now, available at Round 2 or where ever Round 2 decals are sold. Some on ebay too.. Rat Fink Decals
HomerS Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 Like the Coca-Cola license....It's going on everything 1
chuckyr Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 LOL! Italeri and Tamiya appeal to adults, Round2 to children. 1 1

keyser Posted December 6, 2021 Posted December 6, 2021 Few under 35 know Roth. Probably closer to 50+. At least it ain’t Ed Hardy.
