the tire treads have been sanded, and the inner fenders, firewall and radiator support painted and installed. also got the wiper motor, battery, master cylinder, horn and washer tank installed along with radiator hoses. body color will be a red that I like.

I got the body painted and put in place to make sure everything is going to line up. will be working on the grille and the tail light panel while paint completely cures. it is dry to the touch and has been several days since painted. pretty happy with the paint so far.

I managed to get window trim painted, window glass installed and the stripes put on today. it's been a decent kit to build so far.

The color, as well as the paint finish, look great. I like the look of the flat hood without the scoops.
