69 Camaro Z28

I liked the Createx Blue Pearl that I put on the 34 Ford hot rod so much I decided to put it on a 69 Camaro Z28.

Thanks. I've had it in my stash for a while now. Been avoiding it because of the trim work, but I'm going to give the foil another try.

Worked on the trim. I used foil on the bottom trim and it worked out ok. But when I tried it on the windows it would not stick. So I gave up and used a silver sharpie, but with my shaky hands I didn't do a very good job.

Engine is ready. I had been buying pre-wired distributors for my engines, but decided to try wiring the kit one this time. Turned out ok.

Put on some floor polish for the clear coat.

Anyone who has built this kit, did you have trouble getting the body onto the frame. I can't seem to get it on, keep breaking stuff off when I try it.

Man oh man, I've got two that went sailing because of my impatience with this kit, I've got one ready for final assemble but am gun shy now. Just go at it easy!!

I wonder if anyone has used Poker cards to slip a chassis assembly into the body... without scratching the body paint or breaking stuff....

This one is going back in the box for right now. It's done gone and made me mad. Maybe get it back out later. Moving on to my 66 Chevy c10 pro street, try and finish it up.

This one. It is a nice kit, but getting the body on the frame is a bugger, at least for me. I'll take a break from it and go back to it later.
