Very nice truckload, Gary - which transporter is this? It looks like the former Casner/Shelby/AlanMann racingtransporter - the works 330P2 (#20) DNF, the 2 NART cars are the Rodriguez/Vaccarella 365P2 (7th) and the well-known winning 250 LM.

The 250 LM in the forground seems to be the Ecurie Francorchamps car from the 1966 Le Mans race (DNF)

Helmut, you are right on the transporter, a scratch built body by Mike Sells.  Should not have included the #28 for 1965.  Oh well, getting old sucks.

I don't care about accuracy, had to comment about the cars, specifically the 250LM that I have almost finished. ?  What is the truck pulling this trailer?

Kurt, there is no trailer - this is simply a straight truck built by Bortoletti/Italy on a Fiat bus chassis for Lucky Casner's Camoradi team, later sold to Carroll Shelby who installed a 3rd axle and used it in 1964 and 65 for his Cobras, later it was used by Alan Mann:

and finally - restored again (as it was used by the Shelby team for the 1964 European races):

Thank you for the explanation.

In retrospect now it would have been easier perhaps to post this photo and told the viewers just to imagine that the Bartoletti transporter was red and without the tag axle like the Ferrari team's were.

The P2s are #20 Strombecker and #18 is a K&B body on an Academy chassis and the 250LM is a BBurago with an extended Bondo nose.

There is an irony here though because the Shelby et al transporter was borrowed from David Piper for Steve McQeen's movie LeMans and painted red to look like a Ferrari transporter.   Here pictured when Michael Shoen owned it in Arizonia.  And yes that is CSX2299 Cobra Daytona and CSX2002 Cobra on top.  This is the location where Gunze Sangyo photographed CSX2299 for their Daytona kit.

Gary is the owner - caretaker - of a rather rare piece of model making ….  The Sells transporter  - in 24th sc - it’s huge - made by Mr Sells - who drew a legendary set of transporter drawings about ? 25-30 years ago .

Now if memory serves me well - the chassis that the transporter sits upon is Gramps handiwork- based upon a 24th sc fire engine kit ….   Now who is going to volunteer to do  set is white markings- for the Cobra or Scarab team ?   Apply herein ….

Gary A very very fine collection
Imagine the value of these cars in scale 1 : 1

Reminded me of similar photo on the net of the Ferrari transporter loaded for LeMans 1964
With
- the winning Guichet/Vaccarella 275 P, ch no 0816, actually the same car, which won in ´63, but that year with the smaller 250 engine
The only Ferrari, as far as I understand it, winning LeMans outright twice, think there are in total only three cars which have done this
And this was the last factory Ferrari to win the LeMans, the ´65 winner was entered by NART
The 0816  was out for auction around 2018, have not seen anything about the outcome, but speculations were, this would be the most expensive car ever
- the Surtees/Bandini 330 P, 3rd
- the Ireland/ Maggs 250 GTO, 6th
With such provenience and current prices, the value of this load would be ........

This is the logical explanation for the photo-etched Arizona license plates in Gunze's Cobra Daytona kit....
