Great concept and very doable in 1:1 scale.

David, inspiration came from one I saw on Google...

Many years ago, I lived in the area of Pismo Beach in California. While there were many types of Beach Buggies and 4X4's running thru the dunes there were also rigs that were normal looking cars set on Jeep, Broncho and GM 4X4 frames. One I remember seeing often was a '66 Chevy Caprice Woody Wagon on an old Blazer chassis. This rig almost looked more like a show car than a beach crower.

Now that's cool! Nice work. Round2 should do a version of this just to hide how bad the stock kit is, lol.

Gareth, the 77 Pinto kit is a bit of a dog for sure, that is why I used it for this..

Fun project. Neat concept. Nicely done. There were a couple of these running around here when I was in my teens, as well as  javelin, a couple of Camaros, and a big '67 Caddy all mounted to various 4X4 chassis.

Nice! Remember we had something similar here in town way back. Don’t remember what body it was, some small size similar to that mounted to a blazer chassis. Cool build!

Pinco?

How 'bout Ponco, Brinco or Pronto?

No matter what you call it, I like the execution. I think I've seen a few in real life.

Probably the only way a Pinto would ever be saved!
