Been quietly watching you progress on this build. I like how you built the wood flat bed. I like all the grimy details you are adding.

Thanks David, you know if I build it it's gonna look like junk.?

Thanks Carl, it's definitely getting something, I just haven't figured it out yet.

I made some racks for the body & I think it looks better already.  Now to figure out how to do  load of sand. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Looking good Mark! As for the sand, maybe a grey embossing powder? The woodwork on the deck and rails is very nicely done.

You mention a load of sand. Are you thinking something like sandbags? Or those tube-shaped sand filled things or just a pile of sand dumped in the center of the bed?

Thanks guys! Well, I got the interior finished. Nothin fancy just painted & put together. Mounted the cab & body and started on my Pile O Sand for the back. It's almost there.

Great build Mark, your weathering is amazing. The rust is so realistic .  Also the sand pile looks great! What did you use for the sand?

Thanks Jerry, I used some embossing powder from Hobby Lobby.

Beautiful work on this one. Realistic weathering and attention to details makes for a really nice display piece. Well done.
