Having been away for several months due to moving house, I now have my new man cave and bench set up and running. ?

My return build is going to be this one:

Considering it dates back to 1971, there is remarkably little flash.............

........... however there is way too much chrome which will have to be stripped

That looks much more enjoyable than the Accurate Miniatures one I tackled. What a pain in the drain it was.

I have two of the AM kits. The first one I b*****d up the engine tring to get the engine stabilisers/braces throught the headers, something that even AM say is nigh on impossible and can barely be seen even if one achieves it. But not one for being put off I gace it a go anyway bt after a solind eight hours of trying, I finally had to admit defeat. The second kit will be built without the braces. It's a beautiful kit but I feel it is somewhat over engineered.

BTW..... the MPC kit was a recent wedding gift to me by dublin boy. Thanks me owld liddle leprachaun.

You can get replacement decals from indycals. com

Thanks for the HU guy. The originals look in good order but's handy to know where I can get replacements. Pattos Place in OZ also does them. https://www.pattosplace.com/home.html Dealt with both of them in the past and both are good IMO
