66 Skylark GS

Forgot to post this guy. This is a rescue of the craftsman issue GS. I friend gave it too me missing some parts and with a destroyed roof. A roof is easily repaired by the beheading method. I located the missing stuff and added a custom steering wheel and outside mirror from a 65 Riv kit. The wheels are from Steven Zimmerman . Appropriate butchery of the chassis for tire clearance body repairs (This guy was rough) and paint and this little guy is done. I need to get better pictures of it.

So sharp! In my book, you can't go wrong black with red interior! These bodies are just so handsome; always thought the mid-size Buicks were HIGHLY underrated. Great save.

HA! It just looks like atmospheric reflections that make make jet black have bluish highlights! Close enough for me - I still love it.

The 67 Buick GS is even prettier. Tge second prettiest muscle car ever. Only loses to the 68-69 Charger by.01%of a point.
