I  had four of these NOS kits so didn't feel too guilty about building one of them. It's not an especially valuable kit. It's built right out of the box except that I used Modelhaus tires as the 61 kit tires reacted with the plastic.

I finished this one last Sunday but just took the pictures yesterday.

!961 is my favorite (and the first) year of this body style. I hope you enjoy looking at it.

Very very clean build! The foiling is a major pain to make look right.

What are your plans for the Styline parts? Would be interesting to see how they'd work with the current '62 convertible kit.

Very nice. Love these bodies as well, and haven't seen a color yet that doesn't look just fine on one; just a great looking automobile.

Beautiful looking paint and chrome detailing. I like the showroom look of your build. Always thought these looked best without the vinyl roof when they were new.
