NOBLNG Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Super nice build and a nice write up on the nuances of it too!?
Calb56 Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Love this, especially seeing the Thickstun heads.
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 I'm not sure how I missed this one....as always, nice job! -RRR
tim boyd Posted January 6, 2023 Author Posted January 6, 2023 Heh guys....thanks for bringing this one forward on the forum once again. This was one of my most ambitious projects in recent years and while it's not perfect by any means, I am proud of how it turned out. Best...TB
Kit Karson Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 We all need encouragement from time to time! Life has its way of interrupting our collective hobby!! Sometimes the transition from one media to another can reveal new and greatly appreciated audience's... here on the forum what you build is more important than the builder that built it! That's saying something, too!! Your two sedans are examples of what can be done when you create something outside of the box! Great work and fun seeing your builds here!! -KK
Dennis Lacy Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 I can’t believe I didn’t leave a comment gushing all over this back when you posted it because I certainly remember seeing this thread. Better late than never, then! I absolutely LOVE this, Tim!! ?
alan barton Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 (edited) Add me to the list of people wondering how I missed this! For me, the second shot is killer. The fact that every single detail of the hot rod is completely parallel to every other component gives a whole new meaning to the word "stance". This Tudor has stance from front to back, top to bottom. Better still, in 1-1 scale you could actually sit inside it and drive it, further than the length of a fairground. And the green - couldn't think of a better colour for the car. The rod run in your display cabinets must be looking pretty cool these days! Cheers Alan Edited January 7, 2023 by alan barton
tim boyd Posted January 22, 2023 Author Posted January 22, 2023 Kit, Dennis, and Alan....thanks for the comments. Glad to know this one resonated....now, what's next? Best...TB
