RIXprints Posted March 25 Posted March 25 When I get back to it, some pin stripes and clear should make it pop.
Ulf Posted April 5 Posted April 5 (edited) I am a bit locked in that I can only build and not paint, partly because I broke my ankle in January. No worries because building is fun. Sewer cleaning and plumbing clearly appeal to me. Edited April 5 by Ulf 4
Mattilacken Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Another Truck mock-up. A 3d printed dually be from a GMC with a Toyota hilux long bed inner bed, which fitted exactly as I wanted it to. Wanted to have a more modern square body step side look but with the dually bedsides, have newer been found of the bed GM made for the step side on this generation and the one before. Could probably bring the bed sides in 1mm or max 2 per side to make the look stick better. Wheels are some die cast wheels I found ages ago that got fitted to a set of wide tires so I got that stretched truck wheel look in my eyes. 3
OldNYJim Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Playing with the Monogram 55 Ford kit…I wanted to keep the wide kit rear tires from the current issue but didn’t want to mess with the rear track width and tub the bed and all that stuff…so I just widened the fenders a little and moved them up a little… I don’t hate it…and I like it more than the weird way the rear looks on the box art: Wheels are a file by Slowly’s, who makes excellent 3d files btw… 7

NOBLNG Posted Saturday at 06:33 PM Posted Saturday at 06:33 PM (edited) A VERY preliminary mockup…I only started on it a couple of hours ago.…but it’s been burning a hole in my brain since I found this picture.🤪 I will be shortening the wheelbase at some point. I’m thinking the tires from the Mount’ N Goat Jeepster might be a nice compromise.🤔 Edit: THAT’S more like it.😎 Edited Saturday at 07:02 PM by NOBLNG 9
Mattilacken Posted Saturday at 07:08 PM Posted Saturday at 07:08 PM Forgot to post the other mockup. 4

espo Posted Sunday at 07:24 PM Posted Sunday at 07:24 PM If they ever brought back the COE concept for pick-ups this is what they should look like. 2
