MPC 66 Mustang GT (Ebay rescue)

This still needs a few finishing touches (HiPo air cleaner and rocker stripe decals) and maybe some photoetch F O R D letters on the hood.

Compared to the AMT kit I like the separate chrome door handles, gas cap and instrument cluster..  All the custom parts are neat but I built this “box stock” and the color is Ford Emberglo.  The Keith Marks wheel center decals add a nice touch.  I did end up using vacuum form “glass” as the original ones were pretty scratched up.  I’m looking forward to the Round2 version as I’m sure it will be popular since neither the AMT or MPC fastback kit has been available in stock form for 55 years.  I just ordered a set of the Keith Marks decals.
