Just another Revell Shelby Cobra

This one painted Tamiya Racing White . Red stripe decal . Clear this time is the Future floor shine . I used Pegasus wheels and tires . The fronts stick out waaaaaaay too much . I modified the front axel and the wheels but could not narrow it any more than this . It was worse if you can believe that ! I managed to loose one hood lock . As I was trimming the flash on it it went “bing” and it was gone !  I believe it is on the bench and I may find it when I clean it up . If so I will add it .

I like this one, the wheels are just great and the color is classy. Great job. Would be great if you posted a photo of all your cobras. you might need a wide angle though.?

Looks great Ray !  Depending on the type of racing those tires sticking out may not be to far off . We had a customer that built one for racing with Corvette suspension/wheels & tires and they stuck out just like that .

Imagine this slab side 289 without the widened fenders.

I just ordered this kit and looked at a few online videos and was surprised to see the wheels protruding so far beyond the fenders.  Will trimming the metal axles allow the wheels to tuck under the fenders or will suspension components be in the way?
