A modeler named mike Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 (edited) I was able to dig up a photo of my dad's 28' Trojan cabin cruiser. It is a wooden hall boat but I'm not sure of the year it was made. The other is a boat my dad had apparently owned before my time. Unfortunately with his mental state now he doesn't remember the boat let alone it being his. UP DATED INFO.. I went back and found more info on the other boat. It is a 17 foot Day cruiser w/ 35 up Johnson motor. Don't know the year. Edited October 31, 2023 by A modeler named mike Added information 1

Got to see it years ago at the then annual Wooden Boat Show at Lake Tahoe. This has two aircraft engines and can really move on the open water. 1

RSchnell Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 If you really want to get down a rabbit hole of Ford Motor Company History- read up on the Evangeline, pictured here. 2
Oldriginal86 Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 Working on boats is my profession. This is one my company takes care of. 1952 Chris Craft Utility. Still has the flat head engine and manual gearbox. They are nice to look at but wouldn’t want to own one. 2
CaddyDaddy Posted January 5, 2024 Posted January 5, 2024 I had a couple of opportunities to fish off a mid 1950's and early 1960's Rybovitch sportfisherman. Both were craftsmanship works of art with timeless styling.
Bugatti Fan Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 Those polished wooden boats...........Pure class! 1
Brudda Posted January 12, 2024 Posted January 12, 2024 Anyone who builds these are total artists. Modeler or real. Fantastic beauty. Great job!!!! We have a modeler Dan that builds boats/ ships. The time and skill level is beyond fantastic. My friend Mark builds canoes and I see what he does . Bending wood ? How does anyone do that? You guys have not only skill but it takes an artist to make these. 1
