Zippi Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Just finished this one about an hour ago. I had to strip the hood and repaint the custom color and I think it came out pretty good. I used the short block from the kit engine and the intake and carbs are from the parts box. I wanted to be able to close the hood. I think it looks better that way since this is just a street cruiser Hot Rod. Other than the upper portion of the engine and the plug wires it is box stock. I'm pleased with it. bisc63 Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 It fought you, but the car now looks FANTASTIC! Classic lines, clean build, and the wheel/color combination give it the '70s hot rod vibe that I remember as a kid. Great job on a classic kit.
