Up next on the bench for me will be Revell's new release of the 1937 Ford Pickup.  For now, I think I'm looking at making this a nice Classic Street Cruiser.  Wheels & tires are from the parts box and look really nice with disc brakes on all 4.  It's early in the game so I'm still check out things, cleaning up flash, and thinking about color options.

Good looking start, and I like the rolling stock and brakes.

Thanks Dave.

I have the rear suspension set for the height.  It's going to take a little more work to get the front end to this height.

Thanks James.  Still in the early stages so still thinking things out.

I have the rear and front suspension as far in as I can get it without cutting into the chassis which I didn't want to do.  The tires set right at edge of the fenders.  I think it's going to look ok.

Going to be a good-looking ride. But I wouldn't want to hit any bumps, those rear tires are going to rub.  You may need to bite the bullet and do some chassis work to get the tires inside the fenders. Another possibility would be to widen the fenders a little bit.  Fairly easy process. Just split the fender down the center, put a piece of styrene in the split, glue, putty, finish.

Thanks for the info Ricky.

I've been thinking about a color.  I saw these online and thought the colors looked good and I have a red and royal blue on hand.

I'm on board with the blue also my Friend.  This might be a crazy idea but I wonder how it would look with the wheel centers painted red. Just sayin'??

The blue will look great.

Nice work on the wheels too.

Thanks Dave.  I really like the wheels & tires but they may be a little to wide.

You might want to explore TarheelRick's suggestion on the fenders. Ran into the same problem on one I built, and I was using tires not even as wide as you have here. Doing that will allow you to have the fender cover and even wrap around the tires edge.

I did some spoon test with the Tamiya X-3 Royal Blue Acrylic paint.  I thinned it 2-1 with Mr. Color Leveling Thinner.  Which one do you think looks the best?  I'll give you 3 guesses and the first 2 don't count.  I think this is the color for the 37.
