Cow pats in the pasture make me happy, cow pats on my shoulders make me cry, and cow pats made of candy are weird.

"Weird" is one of those words that doesn't follow the 'except after C' rule, making the word itself weird!

"Weird" describes this cow I once knew named Howie, he was so comfortable around humans that he would lean in and snuggle like a huge Labrador Retriever.

Retriever cows evolved their cuddly cuteness in a survival ploy to avoid becoming steaks or burgers.
