Plans (I hesitate to call them "instructions") in Hawk model airplane kits featured a character called Captain Hawk; in one image he was shown saying "You're getting sloppy with that paint" so I splopped some black paint on his face and continued building.

Materializing before me was a vision of the perfect blend of power and dark beauty of the black big block Chevrolet Chevelle exploded from the cloud of tire smoke and thunderous exhaust and engine sounds just as I unfortunately awoke from my dream and realized it really wasn't me behind the wheel,Again!!

Hobby budgeting of both time and money are a necessity and it’s hard to put a finger upon which is more difficult.

Difficult is resisting the temptation to buy more model "stuff" at every model show I attend thus adding to the existing stacks of too much I already have.
