Draggon Posted July 10, 2022 Posted July 10, 2022 (edited) I just got an email from Hobby Search and this flying car kit was listed. I don't know if it's new or not, but thought some of you that build flying cars might be interested in it. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10847842 Edited July 10, 2022 by Draggon 1
Brian Austin Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 Looks like a Chevy Suburban on the boxart, which isn't included in the kit. Or anywhere in 1:24?
niteowl7710 Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 I always thought the dairy cow with VR goggles (so it thinks it's in a field, rather than a post apocalyptic warehouse) was the winning piece from ToriFactory for this particular series of diorama items. 2
Daddyfink Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 (edited) Don't we have a thread for this kind of stuff a bit down from this thread? http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/forum/16-car-aftermarket-resin-3d-printed/ Edited July 11, 2022 by Daddyfink
BlackSheep214 Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 The original flying car kit is the famous Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car model kit. That’s the holy grail as others want in their stash. Heck, I used to have the Corgi diecast one as as kid. Wished I held on to it. I know there was a thread on it somewhere. Back to the Future DeLorean is still around though.

Ace-Garageguy Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 (edited) Not too hard to hammer this together from a T kit and some 1/32 airplane wings... Here's a few more ideas... https://themindcircle.com/the-weird-history-of-flying-cars/ Edited July 19, 2022 by Ace-Garageguy ???>>>***###!
stavanzer Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 Not a T radiator, more like Dodge or Chevy, but you point is well taken.

stavanzer Posted July 19, 2022 Posted July 19, 2022 A few things to notice in this photo. 1. It has tiny marker lights on each side of the radiator. 2. The elevators are drooping, which means he hinged them.... 3. It has a (then) current License Plate. 4. The prop looks like it does not spin, it is only bolted in place. 5. The lower wings act as front fenders.
