Crager Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 I started this one over 10 years ago. I initially sprayed it with Krylon and it looked terrible. I had an old can of Rustoleum enamel and gave it another try. Apparently I like to torture myself! ? 3
70 Sting Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 10 years to build a model… hope your stash is small. ;^) Turned out great! 1
Jim B Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 Great looking Camaro. Very well done. I have so many issues painting yellow. 1
Bainford Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 That's a tough looking Camaro. The shade of yellow is very bold and looks great on the Yenko. Well done. 1
espo Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 GHreat looking paint finish and the decals and chrome trim all look cleanly done. 1

I have never been able to put down a good paint job in yellow Thanks Jim! I had to strip the Krylon, then it sat in the box for 10 years. The Rustoleum enamel required lots of sanding between coats, and finally laying down a decent heavier coat with more sanding. I'll stick with Duplicolor and Tamiya for now on.
