Slotto Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 (edited) The AMT 63 Corvette. I've had this kit quite a while and it has gone thru many iterations before I settled on Street Machine. The wheels and tires are from the Lindgerg 38 Ford Van. Everything else box stock with exception of red flocking and the heater hoses. How the sausage is made Thanks for looking Edited September 1, 2022 by Slotto Added build thread 2
Bainford Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 The Vette looks good in black. Killer stance, too. Nice work. 1
70 Sting Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Might be moving this kit up in line after seeing yours. Nice angles with your photography. ? 1
espo Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Like the stance with the wheels and tires. The paint combination looks nice and aggressive. Great looking engine details. 1
Snake45 Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Very clean build, and that "sit" is about as good as it gets. Well done and model on! 1
happy grumpy Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Beautiful rendition of a classic, specifically the 63 as it was unique. Recently, I saw one that looked pretty much like yours, although the wheels were a little different , brought a smile to my face and some memories of that time. Great build and photography. 1
speedy5963 Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 Nice build, wheels and stance look give it a great look 1
papajohn97 Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 Amazing job on the interior and engine detailing. I had no idea that this old AMT kit came with the Webber carb option, makes it look like it has one of those 377 cu in +500 hp SBC engines that were used in the Grand Sports. 1
Koellefornia Kid Posted August 28, 2022 Posted August 28, 2022 Love these split windows! Nice paint and great wheel choice! 1
Slotto Posted September 1, 2022 Author Posted September 1, 2022 Thanks Dann. I dont know if you noticed but I've added a link to the build thread to my original post. That way you can see the progression.
Kenmojr Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Love what you did to this C2!!! Looks great... 1
