Like the color James, looking forward to your progress. I too need to get one of them to try. I have never done a '30's car model.

Thanks Mike.

The engine is looking pretty good there James.  Those look like Centerline wheels.

Thanks Bob. I think those are centerline wheels, they came out of the AMT 55 Chevy kit.

I'm digging the teal color choice. Can I ask what the paint is?

Thanks. It is Testor's Gloss Teal Enamel in the small square bottles.

The paint looks great, James, those little bottles hold some really good paint. I have used them and they always turn out well for me.

Just curious about the style concept. Where are you going with this build?  I often ask myself that question.  I just wonder if you have a firm plan or if you go where your parts stash leads you (like I do ?)

Thanks Jim. Yea, I really don't follow any type style or plan, just whatever looks good to me. I wanted some wider tires and different wheels, tried a few I had and settled on those. Probably not period correct or anything as far as style, but if I like it then I'm good. The rest will be OOB built, just kinda mixed and matched between the A and B versions.

Yup. I hear you. Gotta go with what's in the junkyard. I just finished another rendition of this kit. Did I say " I love this kit" ? ...and it's sister kit, the roadster. I hope they stay in the catalog.

Ok, I have ran into a problem. Step 8 of the instructions shows the interior panels being installed on the frame/interior floor. This is for the B version. Trying to do a mock up and there is no way the body will fit over those panels especially with the firewall installed. The A version part show those interior panels being installed in the body. Has anyone built the B version and how did you do it. I guess I will now have to try and remove those panels and install them in the body, but not sure how that rear panel is going to fit like that.

Got the grandkids visiting so I'll take a couple days off. When I get back on it next week I'm going to have to figure it out, probably have to take the panels back off and install them in the body first.

Thanks Jim. I think I about got it figured out. I did get the chassis almost done, just need to add the front shocks. The stance looks like it may be a little too wide, but I'm going with it.
