KWT Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 This is the AMT snap kit... did a little detail and black wash. Decals were a bit of a pain. Some blew away in the wind As always, thanks for looking... back to the Camaro... 6

Joe Nunes Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 This looks really nice especially for being a snap kit. Well done! ? Joe

Tcoat Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 Not a 'Vette guy but that is a cool little kit. Never heard of it before but may look for one. Looks like your detail work took it up a couple of notches though.
KWT Posted February 13, 2023 Author Posted February 13, 2023 Yeah actually when I took this out of the box, I didn't have a lot of expectation for it. But as I started to assemble, I was pleasantly surprised. The underbody and chassis is not easy to get get lined up with the upper body. I had to widen the screw holes and tighten til there were just on the verge of stripping the hole. 1
happy grumpy Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Nice job , I always liked the mako shark bodylines.
ismaelg Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Nice! I love it! I've been meaning to start mine for decades. Thanks, Ismael
Chromecop Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Very nice build! I detailed mine usieng leftover parts from a Franklin Mint Diecast, including the bubbletop!
spencer1984 Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Looks good! I had the same problem with my decals, it seems like they were a problem in this kit.
KWT Posted February 18, 2023 Author Posted February 18, 2023 Thanks Bill... that makes me feel a bit better too
