This is the AMT snap kit... did a little detail and black wash. Decals were a bit of a pain. Some blew away in the wind :D

If I am not mistaken the two tone paint work came like that right from the box from the pics I have seen of a unbuilt one

Not a 'Vette guy but that is a cool little kit. Never heard of it before but may look for one. Looks like your detail work took it up a couple of notches though.

Yeah actually when I took this out of the box, I didn't have a lot of expectation for it. But as I started to assemble, I was pleasantly surprised.

The underbody and chassis is not easy to get get lined up with the upper body. I had to widen the screw holes and tighten til there were just on the verge of stripping the hole.
