Superb job Art!  You do honor to your reputation of great modeler, excellent choice of color, beautiful details all around and impeccable quality of assembly.  All that it is necessary to generate good discussions between enthusiasts during your next exhibition.  I love it! ?

Way cool.  One of my favorite kits from my younger years, and a very challenging one to build nicely.  You knocked it out of the park!

Yes, I did. I used a compound called Malm's (malms.com) that a friend gave me. It's been a while, so I'm not positive, but I think I had to wet sand the scratches out with sanding pads first, up to 12,000 grit.
