I was just about to do the same, post a link. Well done Jim. I love Steve Magnante's videos, he's so informative and the information just flows out of him. His models are great too. I love the way he builds many without a hint of paint, then others are so detailed! I still remember the original article series about the Wilshire Shaker in Car Craft, so sad that the full magazine disappeared.

Those were great! I take back all the bad things I've ever said about Magnante being a hack modeler. Well, he CAN be a hack modeler, but there's a LOT more to him than that. He obviously has a side that CAN do darn fine work if the mood strikes him, and he knows his stuff! And it's not at all easy to build a "what-if" build that really looks like it COULD have been a real car. Well done and model on, Steve Magnante! ;)B)?

Steve's "What if" Cougar II really does have a legit period look.

Yah, he gave me an idea on my turbine car. Might be a project.

I Said it before,& i’ll say it again,Steve Magnante,is sort of an idol of mine. His knowledge of anything car wise, just blows me away. From his coverage on Barrett Jackson,to his Junk yard Gold program. The guy is a walking auto encyclopedia. And his models are great. What’s the deal with his model car show/video.It lasted a few weeks, then they were gone.Anyway,i’d love to meet the guy,and pick his brain for information.

Steve is from Massachusetts, and years ago he was involved with one or two model shows here.  I once won a copy of his DVD on building 1:1 altered wheelbase cars.  He is a cool guy.
