Scale-Master Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 SMTS 1/43rd white metal kit. I made new decals because the ones in the kit were poorly done and damaged. WIP Thread: 10
Pierre Rivard Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 Very very nice build. I am surprised by the level of detailing considering the small scale. 1
1959scudetto Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 Excellent build again in this small scale !!! 1
Dan Hay Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 Nice, great detail! My dad knew Clint Brawner, he lived in the PHX, AZ area until he died. We used to see him al the time at swap meets, selling cool racing parts. He had skin cancer really bad, and would always have a huge straw hat to try to keep out of the sun. 1
Rich Chernosky Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 Mark...looks like a real winner. Nice job in such a small scale. 1
bbowser Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 Outstanding work on an iconic car (and driver). Thanks for sharing. 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted April 2, 2023 Posted April 2, 2023 I agree with everyone's observations and compliments. You did a really nice job on that ferocious little car. 1
happy grumpy Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 High quality build for that scale. Had you not mention the scale I would have thought It wasr a 1/25-24 scale . Bravo. 1
Bruce Scully Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 I really like this scale and this is a top class build. well done . 1
Monty Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 As always, reading the WIP section on Mark's builds yields a ton of info you might not know when viewing the finished model. Think what a massive improvement his decals were over the kit's, not to mention a couple other fixes and adaptations that resulted in a far more realistic appearance. Serious question, Mark: Do you wear/use any type of magnification (Optivisor etc) when building smaller scale kits? 1

I wear reading glasses when I build, no matter the scale. And Thank You Everyone for the compliments!!
