Dave Ambrose Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I have a Jo-Han Chrysler Turbine Car kit. Got it at NNL West for an entirely reasonable price. I plan to build it, but my kids know to check the price on that one after I'm gone. 3
lordairgtar Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I have an Accurate Miniatures test shot of a 90 something NASCAR Taurus racer. Never released.

But I have: JoHan Petty Superbird JoHan Torino stocker JoHan Pinto F/C JoHan Challenger F/C (Stevens issue) IMC Little Red Wagon (but all the injector stacks rolled out of the little hole on the bottom of the box - I think) Expand I think the topic covered rare kits that have been desired, found, secured, or pretty much impossible to do any of the above. When a blown up old '66-'67 era Monogram " Uncertain T " kit showed up at a club auction last spring I jumped at a chance to bid for it. Given its rareness...couldnt believe I got it for $25.00....guess many of the younger attendees werent sure what it was.... 1

fredo84 Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Never seen before ,I just bought one ... 1/16 FROG Jaguar type E Motorized 2
Carmak Posted June 6 Posted June 6 I found this locally (Iowa City, IA area) a few weeks ago. This is pretty high on my "didn't expect to ever find" list. 4
lvfd221 Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Just picked this up. It checks so many boxes. Holy Grail kit. hard to find. One of the oldest in my stash. 5
Kit Basher Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Old Monogram kit, I understand these are pretty rare. Obviously, I built it. 3
Deathgoblin Posted June 7 Posted June 7 I've got a full detail Jo-Han 1963 Chrysler Turbine, unbuilt. I'm gonna dig that kit out next. Have a partially built Airfix 007 Aston Martin DB5. Got Dr. Krook's Medicine Show. The kit was partially built and mostly complete, but I had to make a few parts like the rear panel. Also have Der Guber Wagen, but it's really incomplete/damaged. I'll have to make a lot of parts and pull from other kits to complete her. 2

Falcon Ranchero Posted Monday at 09:02 PM Posted Monday at 09:02 PM (edited) My AMT Lincoln, last issued 1965, as was this one. And my Palmer kits are probably like the rarest on earth, but the molds are goofy. Edited Monday at 09:02 PM by Falcon Ranchero 3

Expand It does have plenty of details and movable parts, such as posable steering, folding seats, opening doors, trunk and hood. Mine is molded in an ugly dark brown styrene. I kinda like what Steve Magnante did with this kit in his latest YouTube video, two hemis. 1

FoMoCo66 Posted Tuesday at 01:26 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:26 PM Amt 66 ford falcon. It's really hard to find thies with stock rear wheel wells because they almost all have been hogged out. It's pretty much all there except for the custom parts and drag parts. 3
