Camaro lover Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 Want to say hello. I look forward to learning how much this hobby has changed since the 60’s. I guess my days of using sewing thread for plug wires is over. I’m blown away at the level of detail you guys and gals are putting into your models.
happy grumpy Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 Welcome to the forum Rick. What hasn't change, at least for me, is the joy of building and having a real object to show for.
Rattlecan Dan Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Welcome Rick! This is a great forum. You can learn a lot from these folks. And post up your accomplishments as well. I'm pretty sure everybody here wishes you fun and will offer any help you might need.
yh70 Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 welcome back to the new age of model building Rick..
bluestringer Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Welcome Rick. I am also a old guy in Georgia. South Georgia.
GLMFAA1 Posted April 28, 2023 Posted April 28, 2023 Hey Rick: Welcome back to the future where the models you built in the 60's are now being reproduced and cost 300 times more than the 60's. greg
Mike C Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 Good to have you aboard Rick. I'm in GA too. I belong to the ACME model club here. We meet in Smyrna. So post up pictures of your models, mostly Camaros I guess.
