AMT ‘57 Chevy Stepside

This is my first attempt at a weathered finish. This is actually a pretty nice kit. A little basic but a nice easy build….except for the windshield which doesn’t fit, so I stole the one from the Cameo kit.? Thanks for looking, all comments welcome.?

Great stans and I like the weathered paint finish. Lot of attention to the smallest details on this build.

That is one nice looking pickup Greg.  The weathering turned out really nice.  The stance looks killer with a little rake and the red calipers break up all the chrome on the wheels.  Very kewl looking.

Thanks David. I only fixed a couple pet peeves I have. This kit cries out for a LOT more detailing, but it started out as an OOB build and quickly deviated.? Oh well I still have two Cameo kits that I will definitely put in the extra efforts.?

Thanks Bob. I’m happy with it.? I wish I had sprayed a coat of smoke on the wheels to dull them a bit?
