Primer....sand....repeat. more times than I care to count. Had the body washed, prepped and primered with Duplicolor white sandable primer.

Lately I have had the worst run of luck with known paint that I never had an issue with but a can of Lowe's house brand Gloss Black cashed in and went smack through the primer and slapped a case of styrene craze all over.

Not one to be deterred, patience and determination (as in the determination not to do the Stormtrooper boogie on it) eventually paid off.....along with the Credit card payment that I had purchased it with weeks ago. That was done quicker than the build...lol!

Black on Black with one coat of Pledge floor care acrylic finish. Wasn't  to impressed with the Pontiac Rallye 1 rims but after Googling a pic of them, it make all the difference when painted.
