Mickey Thompsons '71 Mustang Funny Car...

Just finished this one. Built from an early Johan kit, started it about 10 years ago, painted it and put it away fer some reason. All metal finishes are Alclad, replaced the slicks with resin pieces.

I'm not a HUGE fan of funny cars, but man is that a sharp car or what?! Beautifully done model, it has such an impressive and realistic "sit". Very well done.

Man, that is one beautiful funny car. I love all the Mickey Thompson Mustangs, but this lesser seen car (in 1:1) is particularly striking. Very nicely done.

Are the decals kit decals, or Slixx?

Most of the light blue is provided by the Slixx decals, I mixed up some paint to match the light blue decals to paint the front bumper.
