IMC Ford GT40 - Art Print

1964 Le Mans Ford GT (no 40 yet) art print. Stumbled upon it on the Bay.

Gary...now that is cool.  I built all of the IMC kits all the way back to 1964.  I saved all the box tops and related box art then framed them.  I worked as a picture framer for 14yrs.  They hang in the stairwell going   down to my workshop.  All the boxes had similar artwork so it made a cool collection   all by itself.   Didn't know the box art existed as a print.  Wonder if the artwork exists for the other boxes as well...hmmmmmmm

Would love the original. IMC had great box art. I do have the GT playing cards that have that art on them you got by sending 25 cents and a coupon from the kit box.

Thanks to all for your nice comments.  For your request for more early GT40s here are some from 1964.

First is the prototype from the April LM trials.  I used a K&B slot car body on an IMC chassis.

Then the 1964 LM race #11 using an IMC kit.

With the 1964 LM race #12 with a COX body on a Fujimi chassis.

And here is a sneak peek at what's to come once I finish the 1965 Targa Floria spyder.

The Mirage #15 was built using a Mini Exotics body.
