This is a really nice kit and in my opinion, the best GTO kit available. All right from the box, except for engine wiring and hoses. The wiring's the wrong color but all I had at the time. I actually built this not long after the kit was first issued. It's very detailed but everything fits right and goes together with no problems. I sprayed it with Plasti-Kote lacquer as close as I could find to Pontiac's Barrier Blue Poly. I don't recall the exact color name or number though. I cleared it with Tamiya TS-13 Clear and polished it out.

Great engine detailing without looking to crowded under the hood. Like the paint finish and color, a very popular color combination on these at that time. Clean looking body trim.

For some reason the forum won't permit me to respond to individual comments on my build. I'll thank everyone cumulatively then for the very kind comments. I'm very flattered with so many positive responses.

Sharp car, that blue looks really good on there!

Ok, I figured out how to respond to individual comments. Thanks bisc63, appreciate it.

Beautiful GTO. I agree, this is a great kit from Revell. You did it justice.

Mario, thank you.
