KWT Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 I looking for idea a little while back, I ran across a picture of a Z28 that really jumped out at me... Having just purchased one of these and it actually having those decals, I set out to try to knock this one out. Mr Hobby finishing surfacer cleared with Tamiya. Unfortunately, there was a drop of glue on my mat. So now I have a bad spot in the paint on the roof... ehh... wouldn't be mine if I didn't foul something up. As always, thanks for looking... on to the next... 8
Can-Con Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 Looks great. They did a nice job on the engine bay of that kit considering it was originally a snapper. I'd like to find one of those duel snorkel air cleaner assemblies for my 1/1 '85 Trans Am but there pretty hard to come by now. ??? 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 Did a really nice job on it. Curious why you didn't do the black hubs. 1

happy grumpy Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 great looking Camaro. There were a lot of these around in the eighties. Nice details in the engine bay. 1
satterwhite78 Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 This was a much better body style the the following "catfish" Gen that came afterwards. Nice work! 1
Dragonhawk1066 Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 The Camaro looks great! I actually like that body style. I'm in the same boat as you, there's always something small and stupid that I do to mess up an otherwise almost perfect build, lol. 1
KWT Posted July 5, 2023 Author Posted July 5, 2023 Thank ya gentlemen... I've always like the generation.
karbuildr Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 I always liked this body style as well, and your build came out great, beautiful shine, you made a simple kit look top shelf. 1
KWT Posted July 5, 2023 Author Posted July 5, 2023 Decided to take some outside photos this evening while the light was just right...
karbuildr Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 Looks every bit as good outdoors if not better. The color depth you achieved is impressive. 1
