MarkJ Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 Coming along very nicely. Interior looks Awesome and under the hood. Body prep looks great as well.
kenlwest Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 Looking at the pictures, it is definitely not the ws frame. IF the body is not twisted (common on many open top bodies), then it's the roof. I would take a good look at the body first.

Mittagskind Posted August 21, 2023 Author Posted August 21, 2023 (edited) A first application of paint is on the body. For the primer I used a simple primer spray from the hardware store. Then the actual application of paint with the airbrush. The color is self-mixed (see above). The blue is a bit darker than the original vehicle color, but I like it better. The color is in reality not so bright as it seems on the photos. Finally there was a layer of matt clear coat from the spray can. Next I will place the decals and finally the glossy clear coat. MarkJ Posted August 21, 2023 Posted August 21, 2023 Very close color match that went on very nicely. Do you plan on doing any polishing?
