Coming along very nicely. Interior looks Awesome and under the hood. Body prep looks great as well.

Looking at the pictures, it is definitely not the ws frame.  IF the body is not twisted (common on many open top bodies), then it's the roof.  I would take a good look at the body first.

Thank you Mark & Ken.

And yet it was the frame, Ken. I bent it forward a bit with hot water, now it fits. The body is ok so far.

A first application of paint is on the body. For the primer I used a simple primer spray from the hardware store.

Then the actual application of paint with the airbrush. The color is self-mixed (see above). The blue is a bit darker than the original vehicle color, but I like it better. The color is in reality not so bright as it seems on the photos.

Finally there was a layer of matt clear coat from the spray can. Next I will place the decals and finally the glossy clear coat.

Hello,

Was this model finished?  I am late to the party but I'm glad I found this. I am about to start building this kit.

Thanks,
Ismael

Sorry Ismael, I saw your post right now. Yes it's finished, look here:

If you have any questions, I'm at your disposal.
