bobthehobbyguy Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 I'm using Google safari on my iphone and Google Chrome on me android tablets and not having any issues. It will help Dave if you can indicate what browser you are using and what operating system.

TonyK Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 I'm using Google Chrome and have the same issues. Also can't click on the "like" button as I get a little window pop up with an error. Tried using a different browser and have the same problem. Contacted "iamsuperdan" and he's looking into it.
TonyK Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 You can change pages by going to the top of your browser and change the page # and then hit enter. Works for me anyway.
BDSchindler Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 I've the same issue for a LLLLLOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGG time! This is the ONLY site it happens on...no other forum site has this issue. Nobody knows what the issue is. Right click the page number and select open in a new window. I've just gotten used to it.
Jack L Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 I use the unread content the load more activity button does not work now, no page numbers to right click on
bobthehobbyguy Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Here are somethings to try. https://windowsreport.com/website-buttons-not-working/
THarrison351 Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 I've been having the same problems too and tried to use Edge and it made no difference. Also when I posted a new topic earlier, I had to use a different Fotki URL to post images. Never had this problem before either.
bytownshaker Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 I'm having the same issues ( unable to go forward or back) plus when I scroll over a topic I get this message (There was a problem loading this content) also I'm not able like pictures Desktop computer with Chrome, tried using Edge and everything seems to work ok.
TonyK Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 I get that message too. Hopefully someone will look into all of this.
Xingu Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 We have repeatedly looked into this and there is nothing on our end that can be done about it. We will continue to apply the updates provided by the software vendor (we do not install every update) and hope it sorts out some of the compatibility issues that members have. I have mentioned before that with all the different computers, browsers, modems, switching hubs, routers and other equipment used by individual people or by their service providers, each with any number of customizable settings, there are going to be bugs or glitches in the system. Most of these are very minor inconveniences to individual members. Please keep reporting issues that you have, but keep in mind that we cannot fix them all.
TonyK Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Thanks for checking it out. I know this weird stuff started happening right after the "spam" garbage on the board. It is a minor inconvenience but I'm learning to work around it. It helps to read that I'm not the only one.
bobthehobbyguy Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 I had a thought how many of you that are having problems are running an adblocker. It could possibly interfering with the site buttons. Just a thought. Might be worth testing.

stinkybritches Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 I use Chrome , Edge, and Brave on my work and home pc. None of them will go to page 2 or allow me to like a post. I have no problems when using Chrome and Brave on my phone. I'm ASSuming that it is a Windows setting that may be causing the issue. I'm on Win 10 at home and work.
bobthehobbyguy Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 I think that is a reasonable assumption.
Tabbysdaddy Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 This has never happened to me... until today.
iBorg Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 I'm on a Mac and have the same problem which means it isn't only a windows issue. I typically browse with Brave which blocks ads but the same problem occurs in Chrome which doesn't have an ad blocker. Buttons do work in Safari and Firefox both which have ads. All this on an older Macbook running 10.15 which is the latest it will run.
peteski Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Back in the earlier days of the World Wide Web, with basic HTML code, thing were simple and pretty much compatible with all the early browsers. Nowadays the coding got so darn complicated that there are always compatibility issues. Unfortunately there is no easy solution - and things will only get more complex in the future. The coding has gotten too complex and too many programmers are involved in the process, each one handling a small piece of the entire browser or website design. Updates (to the browsers and to the programs like the one running this forum) are double edge swords. They fix one thing and break another. These things are too complex to test every possible feature and interaction before releasing the update. There are just too many features and interdependancies. We're stuck in this quagmire called Internet.
